LEED Seminar on Fly Ash Stabilization
Join
EGB and the Associated General Contractors Construction Leadership Council for
a LEED seminar focusing specifically on Fly Ash Stabilization given by Glen
Ferguson, PHD, PE Chief Regional Geotechnical Engineer with Klienfelder of
Leneza, Kansas. Along with the seminar, there will be a live
stabilization demonstration which includes the application of Fly Ash,
predetermined water application and soil incorporation on a street in
Lakeville!

Update on Design Competition
The
2009 Natural Talent Design Competition is drawing to a close in May, which
means that the awards ceremony is coming up! Mark your calendars for
Thursday, June 4th (at 7 pm) when we will be celebrating the hard
work of these teams. The location will be announced in coming
weeks. This year’s competition focuses on a proposed Habitat For Humanity
site in Brooklyn Center.
